Grand Wailea Seaside Chapel

The Grand Wailea Seaside Chapel stands amidst a waterfall feeding into a large Koi pond nestled near elaborately manicured gardens. The chapel itself boasts dark mahogany fixtures, a colorful stained-glass backdrop, and hanging crystal chandeliers. The chapel makes an incredibly romantic setting for a traditional destination wedding.

Keawalai Church

Founded in 1832, Keawalai Church was originally constructed of pili grass and was reconstructed by the Hawaiians using lava rock, local lumber, and coral as the cement to bind the rocks. This unique and historical landmark is perfect to celebrate a union while incorporating the Hawaiian culture. The refurbished interior of the church features white washed walls, native 'ohi'a hardwood flooring and an altar made of rare native wood varieties.

St. Theresa's Catholic Church

St. Theresa's Catholic Church is the only Catholic church located in the South side of Maui. The church is large enough to accommodate groups of many sizes. High vaulted ceilings tower over tiled flooring. Special requirements for all Catholic ceremonies must be arranged directly with the church.

St. John's Episcopal Church

Nestled high above the resorts and condos, St. John's offers breathtaking views of the Pacific and West Maui Mountains. Located in Kula, St. John's provides a quaint wedding location featuring additional lawn and garden venues. Additional fees apply for reception use.

Holy Innocents Episcopal Church

Located on the West side of Maui in the historic town of Lahaina, Holy Innocents Church offers a modest ceremony venue for those seeking a non-Catholic church ceremony. Thick red carpets, vaulted ceilings, and stained-glass windows enrich the church's interior. Please note that the site fees increase as the guest count increases.

Makawao Union Church

Originally constructed in 1861 as a small building with a modest wood frame, Makawao Union Church was reconstructed in 1917 into the bold stone structure that stands today. Noted for its remarkable and historic architecture, the church has become a local landmark and attraction for visitors and residents alike. The amphitheater-style seating, European-inspired oak fixtures, and intricate stained-glass windows provide a noble venue for a traditional wedding. Please inquire for pricing.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church

Located in Makawao (upcountry Maui), St. Joseph's offers a beautiful Catholic church location with cooler temperatures than on the South and West sides of the island. The expansive and narrow building offers abundant seating and intricate stained-glass windows. Please inquire for pricing.

Maria Lanikila Catholic Church

This grand Catholic church is located in the heart of Lahaina with French cathedrals, long, sweeping columns and Gothic steeples. Tall pillars line the aisle leading up to an impressive altar. More narrow than most churches, tasteful colors and light accents create the perfect atmosphere for a small and intimate ceremony.

Ka Ha'lia Aloha Wedding Chapel

Located in a residential area on Maui's West side, Ka Ha'lia Aloha Chapel offers a small, yet charming venue for weddings. The small chapel rests high on a hill overlooking the Pacific, and the islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i. The interior features a vaulted ceiling, cherry wood floors and furnishings, and Hawaiian quilt-style embellishments. The outdoor garden area is a pleasant area for family and group photos.
