Private Estates

There are a few select private estates that offer venues for weddings and receptions on the island of Maui. Each private estate has its own set of guidelines determined by the property owners and managers. Special requirements include but are not limited to: group transportation, parking, vendor specifications, noise ordinances and curfews, electrical requirements and set up.

Hoku Lani Private Estate

The ocean front garden oasis is an absolute favorite for weddings and receptions. Nestled in the embrace of a secluded bay on Maui's South shore, Hoku Lani offers panoramic views of the Pacific, the West Maui Mountains, and the neighboring islands of Kah'olawe and Lana'i. The gardens are enhanced with lush tropical foliage, mango, papaya and banana trees, a charming gazebo, and a small bluff overlooking a pristine and protected bay. Molokini Lookout

Molokini Lookout rests high atop the Wailea Golf Course, offerings a unique and private wedding location with a spectacular view of the treetops of Wailea as well as the expansive Pacific Ocean. The panoramic view is a favorite for photo backdrops and the large green lawn can accommodate groups of any size.

Honua Kai Lani Private Estate
(a.k.a. Sugarman Estate)

For larger groups who are seeking an outdoor ceremony and/or reception, Honua Kai Lani Estate offers a rare and unforgettable experience. located in Makena on Maui's South shore, this exclusive property rests ocean front near the aquatic reserve of Ahihi Bay. Large and substantial lawn areas are shaded by kiawe and coconut trees. A modest, yet comfortable beach house offers a fantastic location for members of the bridal party to prepare for the special day. Please inquire for more information.

Olowalu Plantation House

Olowalu Plantation House emits the nostalgic and classical setting of old Hawaii. With sprawling ocean front lawns, captivating Banyan trees, and attractive landscaping, this large venue is great for any event. As one of Maui's most popular event locations, availability goes quickly.

Kailani Hale

Located in Ma'alaea, the flat valley area between Haleakala and the West Maui Mountains, Kailani Hale sits ocean front, looking out across Maui's largest bay. This estate offers an intimate setting for a wedding and/or reception. On either side views of the towering mountains frame the panoramic vista of the Pacific.

Sugar House

Hidden by expansive fields of sugarcane, the Sugar House in Hali'imaile perches inland, far enough away from the beaches to offer extraordinary views of Maui's North and South shores. This plantation style property offers both indoor and outdoor options perfect for the ideal garden party.

Pua Lea Estate

If a fairytale wedding experience is what you seek, the Pua Lea Estate is a perfect setting for your event. Far from ordinary, this estate offers the historic ruins of a sugar mill refurbished with brick flooring, unique fountains, and status. Green moss and foliage climb the walls towards an open rooftop partially covered with glass partitions adorned with a crystal chandelier. The Pua Lea Estate is located on Maui's North shore, so is much more lush than the other areas, but is also more prone to showers.

Ke Ali'i Nui Botanical Gardens

For the more adventurous bunch, Ka Ali'i Nui Botanical gardens offer terraces and Taro patches surrounded by lush grass and rainforest, cascading waterfalls, and a cliff side ceremony platform overlooking the Pacific Ocean 60 feet below.
